Super Hero Spaghetti Squash

Balance is key! We eat lots of vegetables and appropriate sizes of organic, grass-fed humane meat. We drink lots of water and make sure we have splurges 20 percent of the time. Staying healthy is truly about making the connection between how you feel when you make great food choices. Good food, good moods!

  • 2 spaghetti squash per 4 people (cut and scoop out seeds for squash)
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
  • Fresh garlic
  • 2 lbs. of lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • Olive oil
  • Pinch of sea salt
  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Once pre-heated, place spaghetti squash in and set timer for 50 minutes

  2. When there is 20 minutes left, saute meat or cook TVP

  3. Once meat source is cooked, add jar of sauce and fresh garlic. Cook till hot.

  4. Pull out spaghetti squash and top with sauce

  5. Serve in the squash.

    Fun fact – the seeds from the spaghetti squash are amazing roasted with olive oil and sea salt.
